Stop Play Moon

Acabei de conhecer essa banda através do programa "experimente" ...mto estilo e a cantora é linda...

Vamos conhecer um pouco mais sobre -Stop Play Moon- (peguei a descrição na página do facebook)

A junção de diversas referências estéticas que, transformadas em música, não passam
desapercebidas. Stop Play Moon é uma banda cheia de magnetismo. É o novo projeto
musical de Geanine Marques, Paulo Bega e Ricardo Athayde.

Geanine Marques é cantora e trabalha com música há mais de 10 anos e é a inspiração
confessa do estilista Alexandre Herchcovith. Participou recentemente do disco
“Confraria das Sedutoras” onde, junto de outras 10 cantoras e atrizes, dá voz as loucuras
masculinas do projeto 3namassa. Paulo Bega, sintetizadores e guitarra, montou sua história
na fotografia e, apesar de nunca ter estudado música, caiu de peito aberto nas notas e
melodias apos um curso de produção de áudio. Hoje vive na fotografia e no processo de
produção musical. Ricardo Athayde, bateria e sintetizador, formou-se como designer gráfico
e ilustrador. Há muito participa do underground musical nacional participando de bandas e
projetos de diversos estilos musicais.

Os três se conheceram através da moda e das artes visuais, e se aproximaram através da musica.
Os vocais ultrafemininos de Geanine aliados ao backing masculino de Paulo e Ricardo e às
sínteses de timbres que o grupo produz, apresenta uma estética musical nova, que consegue ser
delicada e crua ao mesmo tempo. A cada ensaio a banda experimenta instrumentos, combinação
de diferentes beats, distorções de voz, melodias progressivas e simples. Tudo é possível para esse
projeto que se aproveita e se inspira no espaço onírico para compor faixas como “Strange”, “Stop”
e “Beautiful”. Belas canções que como segredo a simplicidade que envolve e permitem dançar
e cantar junto.

The Strokes...banda da junventude, rsrs

Acredito que a maioria das pessoas conhece - The Strokes- talvez seja pela música "Last Nite". Essa canção estourou no final dos anos 90...
A banda foi formada em NY, o baixista Nikolai e o vocalista Julian são amigos de infância...o guitarrista Nick e o baterista Fabrizio começaram a tocar juntos quando estudavam em Manhattan. Mais tarde Julian foi mandado p/ uma escola da Suíça pois havia desenvolvido problemas alcoólicos e lá conheceu Albert que anos mais tarde se encontrou com Julian nas ruas de NY.
E em 1999 juntaram-se ao restante do grupo e formaram a banda -THE STROKES-
O estilo de som da banda varia de cada disco...No -Is This It- a banda mostra um rock sujo de garagem...no segundo albúm -Room on Fire- pós-rock e do new wave...Em -First Impessions of Earth- começa a experimentar outros estilos de rock bem diferente das idéias lo-fi dos álbuns anteriores.

Hot Chip

Já conheço a banda tem um bom tempo...adoro a maioria das músicas.
Os clipes são diferentes, músicas a voz e tudo mais =D

Hot Chip é uma banda britânica de electropop formada em 2000. Como exceção de Al Doyle, de Leeds, todos os demais integrantes são de Londres, Inglaterra. O single, "Over and Over" lançado em 2006 ficou muito bem posicionado na ranking musical. Essa canção "over and over" foi eleita o melhor single por uma revista conceituada britânica.
Em 2009 o grupo foi indicado para o prêmio Grammy de melhor gravação de dance music pela música Ready For The Floor do álbum Made In The Dark.

Eu amo The Ting Tings...a voz dela é demais =D..os clipes tb são legais...figurino/make..presença de palco...

"The Ting Tings" é um dueto britânico de rock formado em 2004. O single "That's Not My Name" atingiu a primeira posição no UK Singles Chart em 18 de Maio de 2008. O álbum We Started Nothing foi lançado em 19 de Maio de 2008 e também atingiu a primeira posição no Reino Unido.

O LCD Soundsystem é um projeto musical do produtor James Murphy, A sonoridade da banda pode ser descrita como uma mistura de música eletrônica e punk rock, além de alguns elementos de disco music... a banda ganhou a atenção com seu primeiro single, "Losing My Edge". Murphy lançou um álbum em fevereiro de 2005, O disco abre com a música "Daft Punk Is Playing at My House" .
A banda se apresentou no skol beats em Sp...

Soft Shock....

Yeah Yeah Yeahs é uma banda de indie rock formada em NY, ela costuma cantar músicas com duplo sentido principalmente com teor sexual.
Sua música é uma mistura de elementos retrô com guitarras ao estilo punk rock. A partir de 2006 passaram a contar com um segundo guitarrista, Imaad Wasif, para as turnês.

Eu já tinha escutando as músicas dessa banda -THE GOSSIP-, e oq mais me chamou a atenção foi a voz dessa mulher....e ela canta mesmo...ao vivo e manda bem...eu gosto =)
E ela não tem nenhum problema com o seu peso...ela assume o peso que tem...e se acha sexy...

Gossip foi formada em 1999 em Olympia, Washington com a vocalista Beth Ditto, o guitarrista Brace Paine, e a baterista Kathy Mendonça. Em 1999 a gravadora independente K Records lançou a primeira gravação de Gossip, o seu epónimo EP de estréia, The Gossip em 1999.

Sentimento Elétrico

A primeira vez que escutei o som do -MGMT- foi em um filme de surf do Clay Marzo...que por sinal é mto bom!!!
Apaixonada por pessoas que tem atitudes não poderia deixar passar MGMT...
MGMT é uma banda americana que começou no Brooklyn, New York, composta pelos membros fundadores Ben Goldwasser e Andrew VanWyngarden.
...."Nós não estávamos tentando montar uma banda", comentou Goldwasser. "Nós queriamos saír para mostrar a música que gostamos." Eles experimentaram Noise Rock e Eletrônica antes de se tornarem Pop Psicodélico. Eles se formaram em 2005 e excursionaram extensivamente tocando as músicas do EP Time To Pretend, abrindo para a banda de indie rock Of Montreal.

Eu gosto da voz deles...e tudo mais...cores e cores..psicodélicos!!!!

Eu estou apaixonadaaa por essa banda "Copacabana Club", sempre assistia as vinhetas da MTV...mas só agora que tive curiosidade de conhecer =)))
Copacabana Club é uma banda alternativa formada em junho de 2007 na cidade de Curitiba, Paraná. A banda mistura o indie rock, música eletrônica e new wave com toques de punk e bossa nova. Todas as canções da banda são em inglês.
